Trubridge breaks world record
Trubridge breaks world record
New Zealand free dive world champion William Trubridge has broken the world free dive record with a 102-metre dive. William Trubridge achieved the dive at deans blue whole which is in long island in the Bahamas. The dive is William's 18th world record and comes following his failed 2014 record attempt. 2 years ago he had to pull out of the dive just 10 metres from the surface on the return journey. In January 2015 William announced he had beaten his personal breath holding record after lasting nine minutes without breathing.

Sid and Buck off to Antarctica
Ice Age costume characters Sid and Buck are in Antarctica right now learning about Antarctica New Zealand’s work, and life at Scott Base. Sid and Buck are getting changed in the costume in the changing room. They’re experiencing the middle of winter and 24 hours darkness. The characters will be starring in the video series to help young New Zealanders learn more about the frozen continent.

Speech Tyga
For my speech I did Tyga the singer. (not the animal!) My speech was 3 minutes and 18 seconds long. When we finished learning our speeches we had to say it in front of the class and we had to do it without reading what we wrote. My teacher and all us other students had to say to the person who was speaking what we thought they can improve on. It was fun telling others how they could improve their speeches.
